ORCA supports industry standard protocols such as SNMP, FTP, TCP/IP and is
immediately ready to use. Its intuitive Graphical User Interface allows you
to easily manage all of your OmniTerm Thin Clients
without restriction or additional licenses.
- Automatic Detection
All OmniTerm Thin Clients present in the network are automatically
detected and input into ORCA's built in asset tracking database. The
Administrator can easily sort this database and generate and export relevant
reports. At a glance, the Administrator can visualize the configuration of
each Thin Client including IP and MAC addresses, firmware and BIOS version,
product type, flash and RAM sizes, serial number, time on line and more.
- Centralized Operation
Firmware updates, configuration changes, software and OS fixes are all
centralized and can be applied either to individual units or groups of OmniTerm
Thin Clients. All operations can be scheduled for
execution at later times.
- Remote Control
ORCA also greatly simplifies problem trouble-shooting with its
capability to take full control over the remote units. It also
features a built-in messaging system which allows the Administrator to
dialog with the remote users and gives the Administrator the possibility to
remotely reset, restart, reboot, wake up and shut down any OmniTerm Thin
Client on the network.
